$100,025 Of Unreported U.S. Currency Seized
RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seized $100,025 of unreported U.S. currency on Saturday, June 20, 2020. The 31-year-old male citizen from Rio Grande City, Texas did not report he had more than $10,000 in his vehicle. Although carrying more than $10,000 is not a crime, it is a federal offense to not declare it! Failure to declare can result in seizure by CBP.
